The Phonics Fox® - Ware, Hertford and Broxbourne
Hello! I'm Chloe, the founder and owner of The Phonics Fox®.
I serve the local areas of Hertford, Ware, Broxbourne and Stevenage. In addition to this, I have adapted my classes to teach online and have been offering online classes since the start of the pandemic. I have worked with international families as far away as India and North Norway! I am lucky to work with so many wonderful families.

I'm an experienced primary school teacher, having qualified in 2002. I have taught children across the primary age range and Early Years in a variety of school settings in London, Hertfordshire and Suffolk. I have a degree in English Literature and a special interest in children’s literature. I am a mother to two boys and two girls.
The Phonics Fox® has been inspired by my own experience of teaching children. I am passionate about giving children a head start learning to read and write whilst concentrating on the importance of learning through play and working at the child’s unique pace. I enjoy working in partnership with parents; helping them to understand the best ways in which they can support their children.
I am now franchising The Phonics Fox® and would love to hear from teachers who would like to become part of the team and bring these unique classes to their own area.

We have attended the classes since my son was 2 and a half years old and found them to be absolutely amazing!

My son’s first language is not English and I knew nothing about phonics before attending the classes, so we both learned at the same time. Within a couple of months, he was able to recognise all the letters and sounds and now at age 4, he can read, spell and write short words even before starting Reception.

Chloe is fantastic, so involved, helpful and passionate. All the class activities are all planned in advance and so engaging for the children and parents. I cannot recommend The Phonics Fox enough.
